Nationally/Locally it is know that housing developments across the nation are experiencing an influx of very violent and drug related crimes, as well as vandalism and muggings of the staff and residents, and it is an issue that must be Addressed.

“We will lose no more ground in the war against poverty and violence due to ignorance or a “lukewarm stand” on matters that cause and perpetuate poverty and violence!” This means quite simply, that we must take a pro active rather then a reactive approach and do some empowering things such as utilizing trained security officer and the police, working together to monitor and intervene on issues such as:

These are but a few of the concerns associated with complexes of your size throughout the city. In general and unfortunately many of these are issues effecting your complex in specific, and may we add, we did not mention the general fear, by the residents for their very life’s and property every time they leave their apartments, go to the area stores, park their cars, bring in their groceries, approached and accosted for money, or to use their phone. Let’s not forget the fear of reprisal for reporting such things as multiple individuals living in one apartment that are not on the lease or who may be selling drugs within the complex or apartments and the potential to find themselves in the middle of drug retaliation type crimes between rival drug sellers on their premises.
